Q:Who lives here at Village Green? Tell me about the people who live here?
A:Village Green residents are just like you. They might hail from Montana or Missouri, eastern Washington or southern California. Some enjoy a game of Bridge; others are crazy about old radio programs; many love the Symphony, the ballet, and a good play. Village Green residents make good neighbors and good friends because they care about people. Like you, they are looking for companionship with folks in their age group, who like doing the things they like to do.

Q:How close is Village Green to the closest hospital?
A:St. Francis Hospital is less than one mile from Village Green. Virginia Mason Medical Clinic is about a mile down the road.

Q:How do I get my errands done and get a ride if I need one?
A:The Village Green bus takes residents shopping and to doctor's appointments on scheduled days every week. If you need transportation outside of our normal schedule, there are several options available to you and we are happy to help you make arrangements.

Q:May I have my own car?
A:Absolutely. We have free parking for residents and guests.

Q:What is a non-intrusive well being check?
A:Twice a day -- in the morning and in the evening -- you let us know that all is well by means of a little sign on your apartment door handle. Our staff takes note of your signal, but they do not disturb you in the process. In addition, at meal times, it is noted who is present and who is not. If you are absent, we will call your apartment to check on your well being.

Q:Can my family come eat with me?
A:We'd love to meet your family! Families are encouraged to come and enjoy meals with residents, and to get to know the staff. We also have several brunches, lunches and special events throughout the year that family and friends are invited to attend.

Q:What if I need more help in the future?
A:Village Green offers up to five levels of assistance. We can help you with a shower or remind you to take your morning medication. Our professional, caring staff will provide the physical support you need whether you are recovering from an injury or illness, or have long-term needs requiring daily attention. You can be confident that you can remain in your home here unless you require skilled nursing services.

Q:Can I have a meal tray delivered to my apartment?
A:Certainly! We offer up to three deliveries a month at no charge. If you require delivery of your meals for a longer period of time, we can arrange that as well for a nominal delivery fee.
